Today we will visit Qumran and the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Afterwards, we will visit Ein Gedi, home to the beautiful hot springs, fascinating plants and wildlife, along with great hiking trails. Then we will visit Masada and tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans in 73 AD. In the afternoon, we will visit the Dead Sea and float in it’s buoyant waters. And then we will visit the Southern Altar and continue to a Bedouin tent, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
